Ooo Muenster.
YummyWhose memoirs would you most like to read?
I would love to get a look at what was going through Marie Antoinette's mind during her last days in this world. I know we have heard what others said of her, seen some assumptions as to what it might have been like for her, but I would love to read it from her POV.
I would also love to read J.M. Barrie's memoir. I understand he was a troubled man. It would be interesting to see how he saw himeself and his creations.
When was the last time you drove out of town?
About 2 weeks ago, had to run to another town to pick up a dress for the wedding I'm in this weekend.
What is your definition of cheating?
Cheating in a relationship is any involvment, be it emotional or overtly physical, with a person other then your SO.
This includes, sex, kissing in a not-so-friendly way, groping, long involved talks about feelings, avoiding your SO to be around someone else and the like.
I have been cheated on once. I will not allow it to happen again, if so, the other person is losing something very important to them.
I tend to get a bit worked up on this topic. Hope I didn't come off pyscho.
What happened the first time you were left home alone as a child?
Submitted by Warhead.
I can't remember the "first" time.
I was an off again, on again latchkey kid.
So I was home alone a lot.
"keep the door locked, don't open it for any one, don't open the shades, and call Mommy when you get in. Do your homework and then you can watch some TV. Be good."
And, oh, I was. The worst thing my mom could have told me when I was young was that I disappointed her. (Kinda Sad, huh?)
So I came home, locked everything up, sat at the kitchen table and did my homework. Piled it nicely for mom to check over and then watched the Monkees on Nick (when we had cable) or whatever cartoons were on, til Mom got home and made dinner.
I still don't readily open the shades when I am home alone. Just don't think about it I guess.

Paris. Or St Maarten.
Hm, houses in both. Yes, both.
SIde note, I would add pix, but I keep getting an error.
Share a story of a time you acted foolishly.
I was dating a guy in college, and feeling very mysterious and oddly wise, read a lot into the little things that happen around us.
We were fairly newly dating and I was going to a conference for Student Activities out of state. He gave me a necklace with a key of some kind on it to wear while I was gone.
I faithfully wore it all day , when I went to sleep, everything. (we were gone for a week).
On the second to last day, while in a meeting room watching some presentation, the clasp broke and the chain, key and all fell in my lap.
I took this (in my 'wise' mind) to mean that this relationship was 'broken' and broke up with him when I went back.
He was (understandably) furious and avoided me and everyone I knew (while still attending all the events we in the activities team had planned). People I knew were convinced that I needed to talk to him, and I was convinced that I was the LAST person he wanted to see.
That lasted 2 weeks. I don't recall who moved first, but we started talking again, then dating again, then we got an apartment with one of my friends.....
And now we are fully into "Happily Ever After"
(my darling hubby is so forgiving...)
Why do you think it is some people don't get along with you?
I am SUPER bubbly and a bit hyper.
I guess I tend to run over people who calmer or quiet.
Of course, being happy 98% of the time can be grating too, I'm told.
